For your benefit and security, please review the checklist of things you should setup below
Parents, If you have setup an iTunes account using a credit card, please ensure that the credit card holder is the only one who knows the password for the account or you will leave yourself liable for any bill that is run up in the ITunes or App Store. We rcommend an account is setup without a credit card and that you place credit on the account by purchasing iTunes vouchers.
Students: In school please ensure you are connected to the WD-Tier3i network. If you connect to any other network in school, please 'Forget this network' and ensure you reconnect to WD-Tier3i - this will ensure when you come back into school that you automatically rejoin the network on the correct WiFi connection. You can only connect to this network by following the details above and registering for the iTunesU course which will guide you in the automated setup of your iPad
You are strongly advised not to jailbreak as it will affect your use of the iPad in school and invalidate the warranty. If your iPad becomes non-functional after jailbreaking, it will be wiped and restored back to iOS (the standard software on Apple devices) Any games purchased from Cydia or elsewhere may no longer be usuable.
The school takes no responsibility for any loss of content or restoration of data if ALL the steps above and listed in the iTunesU course have not been followed.
